2. Admission:

According to the annual enrollment scheme of Can Tho University, with 3 possible options: Admission; Recruitment combined with entrance exam; Examination.

3. Graduation conditions

   a) Accumulate enough courses and number of credits specified in the education program; the average score for the modules in the education program is 5.5 or higher (on a 10-point scale) or 2.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale);

   b) Thesis score is 5.5 points or higher;

   c) Having one of the foreign language diplomas or certificates at a level equivalent to Level 4 according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam specified in the Appendix to the Regulation on university enrollment and training issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. Education and Training announced, or a bachelor's degree or higher in a foreign language, or a diploma at a university level or higher in another discipline where the program is conducted entirely in a foreign language; The input and output foreign language requirements for each learner must be the same language.

   d) Fulfill the responsibilities as prescribed by the education institution; not be prosecuted for criminal responsibility and not during the period of being disciplined or suspended from study.

  • Consultant on environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring report, environmental legal consultancy at companies and agencies with consulting function on natural resources and environment.

The overall objective of the education program is that the program is designed to educate learners after completing the course to gain deep, broad and advanced knowledge, thereby mastering basic methods for analysis and assessment, evaluate issues in the field of natural resources and environment, contributing to the national sustainable development strategy.

Specific objective

Specific objectives of the training program: To educate a master in Natural Resources and Environment Management with knowledge and capabilities such as:

  • Having knowledge of laws and policies on natural resources and environment, foreign language ability and applied informatics; Educate learners with ethics, civic sense, professional responsibility and social responsibility.
  • Having professional capacity, ability to self-study to improve professional qualifications, research capacity, international cooperation in the field of natural resources and environment.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, forecast environmental problems, compare and propose solutions for environmental management and restoration arising in the process of socio-economic development.
  • Capable of assessing and managing health and environmental risks, managing ecosystems, adapting, responding to and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
